Life Teen is a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church which leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.

Meetings aim to be both fun and to challenging; leading teens deeper into their relationship with God, and encouraging them to learn more about their Catholic faith.

Life Teen is for youth from 7th grade through 12th grade and for their families. Meetings are on Sunday evenings between 6:00 and 8:00 pm beginning with a meal prepared by dedicated volunteers; followed by faith formation and socialization. We invite all our youth to participate as we enjoy healthy & holy activities that strengthen our bonds with one another, and strengthen our bonds with God as well.

Life Teen meets once a month throughout the summer. Weekly meetings begin this year on 27th August 2017.

Spotlight on Our Youth!

The National Catholic Youth Conference is an exciting biannual four-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperons.

The schedule includes general and concurrent sessions addressing a wide variety of topics including forgiveness, Catholic spirituality and prayer, global issues, sexuality, and leadership. There are also opportunities for liturgy and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and a thematic activity village.

The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) sponsors NCYC.

St. Anthony youth have an opportunity to attend NCYC while they are in high school.

Teens Encounter Christ is a recognized movement of the Roman Catholic Church. TEC offers youth and young adults an experience of the Paschal Mystery of Jesus, the core of our Christian faith. The Teens Encounter Christ weekend experience, presented at a time of passage through young adulthood, facilitates spiritual growth and calls forth one’s goodness in service to the Church and world.

St. Anthony’s frequently hosts the TEC weekend, with our parishioners volunteering to assist, especially with meals. Our High School youth are encouraged to attend a TEC weekend.
